A small one, right now, but a couple pics of Bill.

I think he's actually a European Starling, and not a Sparrow, but he's cute either way.

And with me again~

He's such a tweety little baby XD And it's fun, honestly. I love birds, and he's too sweet to not care for. I'm just worried he's bonding with me before I can get him to a professional bird-rescuer.

Yeah, but at least he's safe for now and that's better than not.

He's so little, though... I'd be afraid of breaking him XD

Judging by the yellow beak and the iridescent flecks, I'd definitely say European Starling. =\ I'm just wondering why the legs aren't a nice yellow too, like the ones I've seen.

Have you see a vet yet? =\ It might be better to keep the bird as a pet. European Starlings are an invasive species and considered a pest by a lot of people (especially around where I live), so it might be better off just staying with you. On my college campus, if anyone found a Starling nest, facilities was instructed to burn it, because the birds go in and push other birds out of their nests so they can use them instead. =( But um, check with the vet first, cause it may be different where you live.

(It's a really adorable bird, though. <3)

Yeah, his feeties are different from other pics I've looked up online. I haven't been to a vet yet, our vet would charge an arm and a leg, even for him. What I did first was call our local animal shelter, and they gave me the number to the Fort Worth Bird and Wildlife rescue.

I called THEM, and they gave me the number of a lady who takes in and cares for birds and lives in Fort Worth, but she hasn't answered her phone at all this weekend. It just rings and rings. I even found her number online and it matched up with the one I was given. I'm sort of at a loss, except to keep trying the number.

He's a sweetheart, hops all over my hand and curls up under my neck to sleep, but I'd like for a professional to care for him, if possible

D: I want him to be able to adapt to the wild if at all possible, but with how cuddly he is, I'm not sure if he will...
